You Said, We Did - Road Safety Operation

This evening, Police Community Support Officers Lauren Edwards, Garry Saltmarsh and David Jones from Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team #1 conducted late evening/night-time road safety operations utilising a speed scoping device to detect drivers speeding with the view to carrying out educational activities and referral for enforcement activities where applicable.

This took place in areas within the Taff policing sector, with particular attention being paid to areas highlighted by yourselves within the local community as particularly pertinent such as Brynna Road, Brynna and Main Road, Church Village-Tonteg.

These operations are vital for ensuring the safety of all road users and pedestrians and provide a valuable hi-visibility presence and reassurance to our communities. Speeding and the anti-social use of vehicles will not be tolerated and this behaviour will be engaged with robustly by our team and colleagues in the interest of keeping South Wales safe. We will relentlessly pursue criminals who put members of the public and your communities in danger.
